PLACES

Agika: homeworld of the Tagonican aliens and HQ of the Taginglomerate; population 10 billion. It is located in the Liloqua Quadrant of the Milky Way Galaxy.

Atorian Throneworlds: ruling a titanic empire the size of the Atorians' empire takes a great deal of effort, so the leaders of the Empire have divided their space into six areas and have appointed six Empresses to rule each as a fairly independent fief. Within their sectors, each Empress has a planet that she has chosen as her throneworld. These planets are typically located deep within the Empire and are well-protected by vast numbers of military spacecraft and millions of soldiers. The original Fehran homeworld was destroyed during the first Expansion Phase of the Empire by hostile forces, which were eventually wiped out.

Carina-Sagittarius Arm: a major arm of the Milky Way Galaxy, it is the location of most of the worlds of the TGE and the FAR.

City-Planet: a city-planet is generally considered to be a world that is covered pole-to-pole with one large mega-city. The population of these type of worlds typically are in the hundreds of billions, with several like the planet Mycos being over 20 trillion in population. They are vast prizes to be captured and controlled, producing enormous sums of money and taxation.

Dansall Minor: one of six Atorian Throneworlds, this planet was once a thriving vegetation world but a recent asteroid impact has laid waste to much of the planets ecosphere. In defiance, a new Atorian capital city has been built in the impact crater.

Dushau Homeworld: this is the only planet that the Dushau claim; it is located on the fringe of Atorian space. The Dushau are the galaxies premier ecologists and they are specialists that are called in to evaluate new potential colonies or to help repair ecological damage to a planets' biosphere. These tall blue-skinned bipeds are brilliant and their consulting fees are very high, but they are worth it.

Earth: a world located far from the Atorian Empire and Federation of Allied Races (in the backwater Ilta Quadrant of the Milky Way Galaxy), it is in a region protected by the TMC. Earth has little appeal to most space faring people; it is comparatively low-tech, politically divided, socially unstable, and has the x-factor of being populated by a number of superhumans. However, humans have a warp rating of 3, making them very useful for shock troops when combined with transit wormholes.

Fehran Homeworld: located deep within Atorian Space, this planet was destroyed during the formative years of the Empire....MORE HERE SOON

Halstansir: a heavily populated city-planet that specializes in AIs, high-end weaponry, and other exotic items, it is a neutral world that is associated with the Outworlds Alliance and a member of the Gol Pact. More than a trillion sentient beings call this planet home and is also known as one of the highest tech worlds in the Milky Way Galaxy. Unfortunately, Halstansir has the sad distinction of being located in the turbulent region between the FAR and the Atorian Empire.

Hogg Moons: the infamous headquarters of the the Fanrats, a pirate group bent on continuous raiding of the Atorian Empire. The Hogg Moons location is secret but is thought to orbit a  gas giant in the border regions of the Empire. The Atorians are said to pay a high price for the location of these pirate moons.

Iron Belt Worlds: a series of heavily industrialized (and armed) worlds located in the center of the FAR, these planets produce an enormous amount of military equipment and armed warships, including their immense war-spheres.

Mithridates System: one of the most strategically important star systems in the Milky Way Galaxy. It is the location of the Mithridates Wormhole Junction which enables space going vessels to instantly traverse vast distances across the galaxy using one of its 16 wormholes. Located within the Federation of Allied Races territory, Mithridates is strongly allied to the FAR and may eventually become a member of the Federation. In recent months the Mithridates Monarchy has banned all Atorian owned and flagged vessels from transiting its wormholes due to the continuing deteriorating political/military situation between the Atorian Empire and the FAR. To maintain its neutrality, Mithridates is also one of the most heavily armed star systems in the galaxy.

Motherhome: the homeworld of the Wulfen people, it is located between the FAR and Atorian space. It is also the capital of the Ancient Wulfen Empire; population 10 billion.

Mycos: the galaxies largest populated planet, with 20 trillion citizens. Mycos is the galaxy's largest market for commercial goods, foodstuffs, weapons, and technological items. Located between the FAR and the Atorian Empire, the planets' leadership has always tried to carefully plot a course of neutrality between the two superpowers. MORE HERE SOON...neutral zone area between the FAR and Atorians (Chigogi Neutral Zone and the Nogo Zone)

Olerrat: one of six Atorian Throneworlds, this planet is a ocean world whose only land masses consists of numerous small archipelagoes dotting the surface. The native aquatic race of this world has long since died out.

Orion Arm: a backwater region of the Milky Way Galaxy, neither the FAR nor the Atorian Empire has explored into the area. It is the location of Earth, and the Thissera-Micean Cooperative (TMC).

Rol: homeworld of the Perola race....MORE HERE SOON

Santanni: a enormously populated city-planet located in between FAR and Atroian space, this world has more than a trillion inhabitants, making it a massive market for foodstuffs, electronics, and huge amounts of consumer goods and services. It is a scrupulously neutral world when it comes to galactic politics.

Sellun Prime: one of six Atorian Throneworlds, this planet is one Earth-like planet but its natural resources have been depleted and most of the surface is covered by vast cities and manufacturing facilities.

Slaughterhouse: this premier training world has a heavy jungle canopy. It is also the location of all combat training for the FAR Marines. Every recruit spends at least eight months on this world, learning about weapons, combat tactics, hand-to-hand combat techniques, and survivalism. For hundreds of years the marines have used the Slaughterhouse to train their most elite armed forces. The true size of the FAR Marine Force us unknown but estimates vary around the 2,000,000 range.

Steppenwolf World: slang term for a rogue planet, one without a star. It is estimated that there are more than 100+ billion steppenwolf planets in and around the Milky Way Galaxy, far more than there are stars. Most rogue planets are frozen and dead but occasionally an interesting alien race or technology can be found on these wandering worlds. It is theorized that every star system spits out a large number of these worlds early on in their development into more stable star systems.

Tilinor Minor: a military moon located in the Centaurus Arm of the Milky Way Galaxy, it houses the military leadership of the FAR. The moons' offensive and defensive weapons are incredibly formidable, with only the ultra-tech Perolan Homeworld having more advanced defenses. While the top FAR admirals and generals are situated here in peacetime, in wartime they will be cleverly dispersed across a dozen (top secret) locations around the Federation. This is to avoid a devastating decapitation strike by the Atorian Empire during its next Expansion Phase.

Ultimo: high-population world...MORE HERE SOON

Urbanos: covered from pole-to-pole with one immense never-ending city, this planet has a overall population of over one trillion sentient beings. It is also the civilian capital planet of the FAR and has extremely advanced military defenses.

Vikelter: a Throneworld of the Atorian Empire.  MORE HERE SOON

Warpath: Atorian training world MORE HERE SOON

Yaemos: one of six Atorian Throneworlds, this planet suffers from both a frigid temperature and extremely high radiation. Only a vast amount of a vital mineral (helenium) makes this planet desirable.

Zede Worlds: a cluster of highly industrial (and highly militant) worlds located near the Core of the Milky Way Galaxy. During the last phases of the Fifth Expansion Phase they were brutally occupied by the Atorian Empire. For nearly five years the Zede successfully resisted the Atorian military, until ALL their worlds were bombed with antimatter weapons, turning them to ash and killing tens of billions of sentients. To this day the Zede Worlds industrial base lays in ruins.
