EARTH 89 (aka Hansen's World)
On this world the Company broke into the timeline in the year 2010, and was shocked to find the planet under occupation by an alien race. Apparently these bird-like invaders attacked the Earth two years ago, brutally bombarding the planet from space until all the major nations unconditionally surrendered. Almost 40 major population centers around the world were flattened by the Vulgate Horde, resulting in the deaths of more than 150 million people. For now, the Horde is satisfied to just blackmail the governments of Earth into providing them their national inventories of gold.
