Armorplast, Improved (Ab3): An advanced low-mass "spray on" armor, armorplast was an enormous improvement over standard armor and allowed for significant amounts of armor to be placed even on ships that traditionally didn't have any. Although expensive, armorplast was used on all Reformer ships before the Second Bug War and more advanced versions have been fielded since then. ASBM: A very advanced missile system, the Tolat race gave the Reformation Group this technology during the Second Bug War. Previously, the Tolats had always blaked at giving these weapons to their allies (the Reformers), but the conflict with the Bugs lasted much longer than it should have due to the immense size of the Bug fleets and the weakness in numbers of warships by the Reformation Navy. Gigaton warheads were finally developed during the 2nd Bug War under the watchful eye of the Tolats. Black Hole Point Defense: Developed during the 2nd Bug War by the Reformation Group, this top-secret technology was handed over to the Reformer by the Tolats once the crab-like people realized the humans could lose against the onslaught of the Bugs. However this point defense system was kept from the PSU during and after the war; it was considered one of the most important (and dangerous) defense weapons that the Tolats owned. Later the Reformation Navy gave the technology to the successor states of the PSU after the Armageddon War ended. Not even smallcraft or ships out of phase can resist the stupendous pull of a naked black hole, and it was effective against the Hre'Daak in that regard. Bridge Technology: Faced with the relentless advance of technology on the battlefield, the Reformers had a dilemma: they couldn't possibly field a large enough navy to deter a PSU attack, nor could they keep up with many of the new advances in technology due to their small planetary poulations. A new automated "bridge" system was therefor developed just before the beginning of the 2nd Bug War. This system allowed for greater automation of a warships tactical and information systems, enabling the bridge crew to function at a much better pace during combat. Drone Fighters: Developed during the Second Bug War by the Reformers in parallel with the PSU, these weapons were designed and built at the Reformation Naval Station in the Norfolk System (they were created by Commodore Medina's team in the PSU around the same time). The Tolats were heavily involved in getting the Reformer project off the ground and then finally completed. Gigaton Warheads: Given to the Reformation Group by the Tolats during the Second Bug War, these devastating antimatter warheads are NEVER mounted on the outside of a ship (XO racks); one hit would instantly destroy an entire vessel. These warheads range from 1,000 megatons (1 gigaton) to 10,000 megatons (10 gigatons) and are used primarily against capital warships larger than dreadnoughts, orbital bases and asteroid forts, and large space stations. Since they have an enormously "dirty" warhead, they are rarely used against planets, the SWMBC being an exception. Micronized Tractor Beam (Ta): Created before the Second Bug War broke out by the Reformers, this technology lets RN warships tractor small missile pods behind them, enabling a crushing first wave of missiles to destroy their enemies. Ta is not strong enough to tow warships or bases, nor damage space stations. Missile Pods, Third Generation Standard (MpS3): Developed by the Reformation Navy before the outbreak of the Second Bug War, these missile pods were used to devastating effect by the RN against the Bugs, especially when paired with antimatter or gigaton warheads. Missile Pod, Third Generation Capital (MpC3): Developed by the Reformation Navy before the outbreak of the Second Bug War, these missile pods were used to devastating effect by the RN against the Bugs, especially when paired with antimatter or gigaton warheads. Missile Pod, Third Generation Strategic (MpSBM3): Developed by the Reformation Navy before the outbreak of the Second Bug War, these missile pods were used to devastating effect by the RN against the Bugs, especially when paired with antimatter or gigaton warheads. Plasma Gun 3 (Pg3): This rapid-fire plasma gun was developed near the end of the Second Bug War by the corporate world Newer Jersey. This weapons technology was disseminated to the rest of the PSU but the plans found their way into Reformer hands during a tech exchange with the PSU. Now, it is used extensively by the Reformation Navy on nearly all its warships. SLED3: Developed before the 2nd Bug War by the Reformers, these boarding "sleds" were updated with new stronger armor and planetary assault capability. It proved a very effective weapon against hostiles who did not know of its unique capabilities. SLED3s are installed on only a few specialized Reformation Navy warships, including the new "siege engine platform" and the Mauna Loa-class CA. Smallcraft Bay (BbC): Invented near the end of the 2nd Bug War by polish ethnicists on the planet Cczwyck, this advanced boatbay technology was bought into service by the Reformers and was used to devastating effect near the end of the Second Bug War. It allowed for extensive use of small craft on most types of ships, of nearly any size. Vertical Launch System, Small (VLSa): A devastating missile system created during the 2nd Bug War by the Reformers, this system enabled mass lauches of missiles, albeit in a few powerful volleys. Second and third generation VLS proved even more capable especially when paired with gigaton missiles. War Drones: Developed during the 2nd Bug War, these autonomous AI-driven drones were critical in ending the war against the more numerous Bugs. During that conflict the Reformers were desperate for any automated weapons that could help them against the flood of arachnids and their Tolat allies gave them the solution: true AI drones with heavy weaponry. Equipped with murderous weapons and sent out on unsupervised patrols, these intelligent drones also took part in every major fleet battle after Third Masada. Continued development and construction is ongoing for these unique drones, strictly in the Reformation system of St. Joan. NOTE: Reformers only develop military technology when needed, NOT when they are able too.
