BYZANTIUM SPACE PROGRAM
Despite pouring billions of dollars into their own local space program, the Empire was lagging badly behind its competitors on the program to land a man on the moon first. However, the Company has a vested interest in seeing the Byzantines succeed so they have given Saturn V rocket technology to them. The Empire also has financial backing and technical support from several other nations that do not have their own space programs. These nations include Poland/Lithuania, Sweden, Spain, and (to a degree) the Americans.
